Welcome to my weblog. My name is Oussama Metatla, I’m an academic researcher based in the UK working in the area of Human-Computer Interaction [Have a look at this page if you wish to find out a little more about my academic research.] On this blog, I write mostly about topics pertaining to science, politics and the media particularly in relation to Algeria, and occasionally about my own research. I don’t do this often.

I also edit Inspire Magazine and co-run anasr.org activities, and I have a keen interest in scientific outreach and public engagement with science.
